You'll leave from downtown Sitka on a comfortable, heated boat reserved for your group. There's no set route for the day. We watch the weather, tides, and wildlife activity, then adjust. That could mean watching a humpback whale feed, drifting past sea otters in kelp, or checking rocky shores for sea lions, bald eagles, and seabirds. There's always room for questions or quiet time, as you prefer.
Midway through, we stop at a remote island and go ashore. The beach is quiet and uncrowded, allowing you to explore at your own pace. Some guests walk along driftwood, others peer into tide pools, or just sit and enjoy the stillness. Snacks and warm drinks are provided, with no pressure to keep moving.
