Your guides will pick you up at Mount Roberts Tramway, just a short walk from all the cruise docks for transport to the gold panning location.
You will learn to pan for gold at Gold Creek and "Last Chance Basin," and will keep whatever you find!
A short, scenic ride through Juneau will lead you to the site of the Gold Creek Salmon Bake.
Enjoy all-you-can-eat grilled salmon, chicken, baked beans, wild-rice pilaf, au gratin potatoes, and other sides, salads, beverages; blueberry cake for dessert. Beer & wine will be available for purchase. Vegetarian or gluten-free options are available as well.
With full bellies at the end of your feast, you'll hop back into the vans for transfer back to Mount Roberts Tramway, for a short walk back to your cruise dock or downtown Juneau.
