Glacier Point ATV Exploration
Navigate the pristine forests of Southeast Alaska and the remote Glacier Point on this ATV exploration! This exclusive excursion is one of just two Glacier Point tours that will allow you to experience the beauty of wild Alaska with the excitement of driving your own 4x4 through the rugged surrounding landscape. All able drivers are guaranteed at least 1/4 of the drive time, so you are sure to get the thrill for yourself, while passengers can keep their eyes out for the wildlife of the area.
Your Glacier Point ATV Exploration begins right from the Skagway docks, with stunning views along the Lynn Canal, as you take a 1-hour journey to Glacier Point. With an onboard naturalist, and an eye out the window for jagged peaks or sunbathing sea lions, there is something to see or learn throughout your journey. Upon reaching the rocky beaches of Glacier Point, you will meet your guides for the ATV portion of the tour, as they outfit you with gear and run through safety procedures with the vehicles. After this, as the tour name suggests, it is time to explore!
You'll follow the guide in your 4-passenger ATV along miles of rugged off-road trails. Ride through the forests of Glacier Point with stunning photo opportunities of the surrounding snow-capped peaks, including a lookout point for Davidson Glacier. Several scenic stops along the way allow you to bring out the cameras and trade drivers. With so few Glacier Point tours available, you will be treated to pristine wilderness and the views to match along this exclusive excursion. So pack your camera and hold onto your hats, the Glacier Point ATV Exploration is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you will be talking about for years to come.
